Mix the Dough
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, activated charcoal powder, and salt until the charcoal is evenly distributed and the flour mixture is uniformly dark. Add the olive oil and warm water, then mix and knead for 5 minutes until a smooth and pliable dough forms.
Divide and Roll
Divide the dough into 8 equal balls. Cover them with a clean towel and let them rest for 10 minutes. On a lightly floured surface, roll each ball into a thin circle approximately 7 to 8 inches in diameter.
Cook the Tortillas
Heat a dry cast iron skillet or griddle over medium-high heat. Cook each tortilla for 1 to 1.5 minutes per side until small bubbles appear and light charring spots form. Stack cooked tortillas under a clean towel to keep them soft and pliable.
