Melt the Mixture
Line an 8 by 8 inch baking pan with parchment paper. Combine the chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, butter, and salt in a medium saucepan over low heat and stir constantly until everything is completely melted and smooth.
Pour and Spread
Pour the hot fudge mixture into the prepared pan and use a spatula to spread it into an even layer. Tap the pan gently on the counter a few times to remove any air bubbles and smooth the top.
Chill Until Set
Refrigerate the fudge for at least 2 hours or until completely firm. Once set lift it out of the pan using the parchment paper and cut into small squares with a sharp knife warmed under hot water.
