3 Ingredient French Toast
This 3 ingredient French toast dips thick brioche slices in a simple egg and milk custard and cooks them in butter until golden and custardy inside. The result is a rich and indulgent breakfast that tastes far more complex than its three simple ingredients suggest.

Instructions
Make the Custard
Whisk together eggs, milk, and a small pinch of salt in a shallow bowl or dish wide enough to fit a bread slice. Beat until the mixture is smooth and no streaks of egg white remain.
Soak the Bread
Dip each slice of brioche into the egg mixture for about 20 to 30 seconds per side, allowing the bread to absorb the custard without becoming soggy or falling apart.
Cook Until Golden
Melt butter in a nonstick skillet over medium heat. Cook the soaked slices for 2 to 3 minutes per side until each side is deep golden brown and the center is cooked through. Serve with maple syrup or powdered sugar.
