Instructions
Blend the Guavas
Wash and quarter the fresh guavas, removing any damaged spots but leaving the seeds and skin on. Add to a blender with 2 cups of cold water and blend on high speed for about 60 seconds until smooth.
Strain Thoroughly
Pour the blended guava mixture through a fine mesh strainer into a large pitcher, pressing firmly to extract all the pink juice. Guava seeds are hard so straining is essential for a smooth drink.
Sweeten and Serve
Add the remaining cold water, lime juice, sugar, and salt to the pitcher and stir until the sugar dissolves. Taste and adjust sweetness and acidity, then serve over ice with lime slices.
