Instructions
Prepare and Blend the Papaya
Peel the papaya, scoop out and discard the seeds, and cut the orange flesh into large chunks. Add the papaya to a blender with 2 cups of cold water and blend on high speed until completely smooth and creamy.
Strain into a Pitcher
Pour the blended papaya through a fine mesh strainer into a large pitcher, pressing gently to extract all the smooth orange juice and leaving any remaining fibrous pulp behind.
Season and Serve
Stir in the remaining cold water, fresh lime juice, sugar, and ground ginger until the sugar dissolves. Taste and adjust sweetness and lime to your preference. Serve immediately over ice with a lime wheel garnish.
