Instructions
Melt the Chocolate
Combine the chopped dark chocolate and butter in a microwave safe bowl. Microwave in 30 second increments, stirring between each interval, until the mixture is completely smooth and glossy. Allow to cool for 3 minutes before adding the eggs.
Make the Batter
Whisk the eggs, egg yolks, and powdered sugar together vigorously until the mixture is pale and slightly thickened, about 2 minutes. Pour the slightly cooled chocolate butter mixture into the egg mixture along with the vanilla extract and whisk until combined. Fold in the flour just until incorporated.
Prepare the Ramekins
Generously butter four 6 ounce ramekins and dust them with a small amount of cocoa powder or flour, tapping out any excess. Divide the chocolate batter evenly among the prepared ramekins. At this point the ramekins can be refrigerated for up to 24 hours before cooking.
Air Fry and Serve
Place the filled ramekins in the air fryer basket and air fry at 370 degrees F for 9 to 10 minutes. The edges should be set and firm but the very center should still jiggle slightly when gently shaken. Let rest for exactly 1 minute, then carefully invert onto serving plates and serve immediately with ice cream.
