Instructions
Season the Shrimp
Pat the shrimp completely dry with paper towels and place them in a bowl. Drizzle with a small amount of olive oil and sprinkle the chili powder, garlic powder, cumin, salt, and pepper over them. Toss until every shrimp is evenly coated in the seasoning blend.
Make the Lime Slaw
In a medium bowl combine the shredded red cabbage with the fresh lime juice and zest. Add a pinch of salt and sugar and toss well to combine. Allow the slaw to sit for at least 5 minutes so the cabbage softens slightly and absorbs the lime flavor.
Air Fry the Shrimp
Place the seasoned shrimp in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Air fry at 400 degrees F for 6 to 8 minutes, flipping the shrimp halfway through, until they are pink, curled, and lightly charred at the edges. Do not overcook or they will become rubbery.
Assemble and Serve
