Mix the Base
In a large mixing bowl combine the rolled oats sunflower seed butter applesauce honey and cinnamon. Stir everything together until a thick uniform mixture forms that holds together when pressed between your fingers.
Add the Chocolate Chips
Fold in the dairy free mini chocolate chips gently. Do not overmix once the chips are added or they will melt from the warmth of your hands and lose their shape in the final bites.
Chill the Mixture
Place the bowl in the refrigerator for 15 to 20 minutes to firm up the mixture. This step makes rolling the bites much easier and helps them hold their round shape without falling apart.
Roll and Store
