Baby Meatballs
Soft and tender baby meatballs are a protein rich kid friendly recipe specially formulated without salt or spices to be safe and appropriate for babies during baby led weaning. The small round shape fits perfectly in little hands and the soft texture makes them easy for babies to mash with their gums.

Instructions
Mix the Meatball Base
In a large bowl combine the ground meat, egg, yogurt, grated zucchini, and breadcrumbs. Mix gently with clean hands or a fork until just combined. Do not overmix as this can make the meatballs tough.
Form Baby Sized Balls
Roll the mixture into small balls approximately 1 inch in diameter, which is about the size of a large grape. Place them on a parchment lined baking sheet leaving a little space between each one.
Bake Until Cooked Through
Bake in a preheated oven at 375 degrees F for 18 to 20 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees F. The meatballs should be fully cooked through but still very tender and moist.
Cool and Test Texture
Allow the meatballs to cool completely before serving. Test the texture by pressing one between your fingers, it should flatten easily. Serve as is on the highchair tray for baby to pick up and explore.
