Cook chopped bacon in a large skillet over medium high heat for 4 to 5 minutes until crispy then remove bacon and leave 1 tablespoon of drippings in the pan.

Add butter and garlic to the skillet and cook for 30 seconds then pour in heavy cream and simmer for 2 minutes before stirring in Parmesan until melted and smooth.

Add cooked fettuccine to the sauce and toss well adding pasta water as needed to reach desired consistency then top with crispy bacon and serve immediately.
