Prepare the Skewers

Trim the sharp tips off wooden skewers with scissors or use blunt childrens skewers for safety. Wash and dry all grapes and strawberries thoroughly before assembling.

Thread the Caterpillar Body

Thread alternating green and red grapes onto each skewer leaving room at one end for the head. Aim for 7 to 8 grapes per skewer to create a plump caterpillar body.

Add the Head

Push a whole strawberry onto the end of the skewer as the caterpillar head. The pointed tip of the strawberry faces forward like a little snout.

Add Details and Serve

Press two candy eyes onto the strawberry using a tiny dab of cream cheese to help them stick. Insert two small pretzel sticks into the top of the strawberry as antennae and serve immediately.
