Preheat and Prepare
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan with butter or non-stick spray and set aside.
Mash the Bananas
In a large mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork until completely smooth. Stir in the melted butter until well combined.
Mix the Wet Ingredients
Mix the sugar, egg, and vanilla extract into the banana mixture until everything is well incorporated.
Add the Dry Ingredients
Sprinkle the baking soda, salt, and cinnamon over the wet mixture. Add the flour and fold gently until just combined. Do not overmix or the bread will become tough.
Bake
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 55 to 65 minutes until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes before slicing.
