Classic Green Detox Smoothie

Instructions
Prep All Produce
Wash all vegetables and fruits thoroughly. Peel the cucumber and chop into rough chunks. Core and chop the green apples and grate the fresh ginger. Juice the lemon and set aside.
Layer the Blender
Pour the cold water into the blender first then add the spinach so it wilts slightly against the liquid. Add the cucumber, apple chunks, grated ginger, and lemon juice on top.
Blend on High
Start blending on low for 10 seconds then switch to high speed and blend for 60 seconds until completely smooth. If the smoothie is too thick add a splash more water and blend again briefly.
Serve Fresh
Pour immediately into glasses over ice and serve. This smoothie is best consumed right away as the color and nutrients degrade quickly when exposed to air.
