Instructions
Preheat and Prepare Pan
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Line a rimmed baking sheet or loaf pan with foil and lightly grease it.
Make the Glaze
In a small bowl, combine half the ketchup with the brown sugar and stir until smooth. Set aside for topping.
Mix the Meatloaf
In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, onion, garlic, eggs, breadcrumbs, milk, Worcestershire sauce, and remaining ketchup. Mix with your hands until just combined. Do not overmix.
Shape and Glaze
Transfer the mixture to the prepared pan and shape it into a loaf approximately 9 inches long. Spread the ketchup glaze evenly over the top.
Bake and Rest
Bake for 60 to 70 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 160 degrees F. Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
