Melt Chocolate and Butter
Preheat oven to 220 degrees Celsius. Melt the dark chocolate and butter together in a heatproof bowl over simmering water, stirring until completely smooth. Remove from heat and let cool for 2 minutes.
Mix the Batter
Whisk eggs, egg yolks, and powdered sugar together until pale and slightly thickened. Pour in the melted chocolate mixture and stir gently to combine. Fold in the flour until just incorporated, being careful not to overmix.
Prepare Ramekins and Fill
Butter four 180ml ramekins thoroughly and dust with cocoa powder. Divide the batter evenly among the ramekins. At this point you can refrigerate for up to 24 hours before baking.
Bake and Serve
Bake for 12 to 14 minutes until the edges are set but the center still jiggles slightly. Run a knife around the edge, invert onto a dessert plate, and serve immediately with vanilla ice cream or fresh berries.
