Instructions
Make the Filling
In a large bowl combine ground pork shredded cabbage soy sauce sesame oil and grated ginger. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are well incorporated.
Fill the Dumplings
Place one teaspoon of filling in the center of each dumpling wrapper. Fold the wrapper in half and pinch the edges firmly to seal creating a half moon shape.
Steam the Dumplings
Place dumplings in a bamboo steamer lined with parchment paper. Steam over boiling water for 12 to 15 minutes until the pork is fully cooked through.
Serve
Carefully remove dumplings from the steamer and serve immediately with a side of soy sauce for dipping. Let them cool slightly before serving to kids.
