
Easy Chole Bhature
This kid friendly version of chole bhature uses store bought dough to make fluffy puris paired with a mildly spiced chickpea curry. Parents love this kid friendly recipe because it is filling nutritious and ready in under an hour.

Instructions
Cook the Chole
Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a pan. Add crushed tomatoes and cook for 3 minutes. Add drained chickpeas, chole masala, and salt. Stir well and cook on medium heat for 15 minutes until sauce thickens and coats the chickpeas.
Shape the Bhature
Divide pizza dough into 8 equal portions. On a lightly floured surface roll each portion into an oval shape about 5 inches wide and moderately thin. Keep shaped bhature covered with a damp cloth.
Fry the Bhature
Heat oil in a deep pan to about 180 degrees Celsius. Carefully slide one bhature into the hot oil. It will puff up quickly. Fry for about 45 seconds per side until golden. Remove and drain on paper towels.
Serve Together
Serve hot puffed bhature alongside the warm chole. Garnish the chole with a squeeze of lemon juice. Kids love tearing the bhature and dipping it into the flavorful chickpea curry.
