Greek Lemon Herb Meatballs with Pita

Instructions
Mix and Shape the Meatballs
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. In a large bowl combine the ground beef, dried oregano, lemon juice, and a pinch of salt. Mix until just combined and roll into 16 equal balls about the size of a golf ball. Place on a lined baking sheet.
Bake the Meatballs
Bake the meatballs in the preheated oven for 18 to 20 minutes until cooked through and golden on the outside. The internal temperature should reach 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
Make the Yogurt Sauce
While the meatballs bake, stir together the Greek yogurt and finely diced cucumber in a small bowl. Season with a small pinch of salt and stir well. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
Warm Pita and Assemble
Warm the pita bread in a dry skillet or microwave for 20 seconds each. Place 4 meatballs into each pita and spoon the cucumber yogurt sauce generously over the top. Serve immediately.
