Instructions
Cook the Noodles
Boil egg noodles in salted water according to package directions until tender, drain and toss with a small pat of butter to prevent sticking.
Brown the Beef
Melt butter in a large skillet over high heat, add beef strips in a single layer and cook 2 minutes per side until browned. Remove beef and set aside.
Make the Creamy Sauce
In the same skillet saute mushrooms 3 minutes until golden, pour in beef broth and Worcestershire sauce and simmer 3 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in sour cream until smooth.
Combine and Serve
Return beef to the skillet and stir gently to coat in the sauce, heat on low for 2 minutes without boiling. Serve immediately over buttered egg noodles.
