Instructions
Heat Water and Seaweed
Pour water into a microwave-safe mug or bowl and add the dried wakame seaweed. Microwave on high for 2 minutes until hot but not boiling.
Dissolve Miso Paste
Place miso paste in a small separate bowl, add 2 tablespoons of the hot water from the mug, and whisk until completely dissolved and smooth.
Combine and Heat
Stir the dissolved miso mixture back into the hot water, add the cubed tofu, and microwave for 1 minute on medium power until just heated through.
Garnish and Serve
Top with sliced green onions and serve immediately. Do not let the soup boil after adding miso as this destroys the beneficial probiotics.
