Instructions
Mix the Batter
Whisk together the flour, sugar, and baking powder in a large bowl. Add the milk and two tablespoons of the melted butter and stir until just combined being careful not to overmix the batter.
Fill the Donut Pan
Lightly grease a mini donut pan with cooking spray and spoon or pipe the batter into each cavity filling them about two thirds full. Do not overfill or the donuts will lose their shape.
Bake the Donuts
Bake the donuts at 375 degrees F for 10 to 12 minutes until they spring back lightly when touched and a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Let them cool in the pan for two minutes.
Coat in Cinnamon Sugar
Brush each warm donut with the remaining melted butter and immediately roll them in the cinnamon sugar mixture until fully coated on all sides. Serve warm for the best flavor and texture.
