Prep the Filling Ingredients
Slice bananas into quarter inch coins and set aside. Have the Nutella ready at room temperature so it spreads easily. Do not use cold Nutella as it will tear the wrappers when you try to spread it.
Assemble the Egg Rolls
Lay an egg roll wrapper flat in a diamond shape. Spread about 1 heaping tablespoon of Nutella in the center. Lay 4 to 5 banana slices on top of the Nutella. Fold up the bottom corner, tuck in the sides, and roll tightly. Seal the final corner with a dab of water.
Heat the Oil
Pour oil into a medium saucepan and heat over medium high heat until it reaches 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Test the temperature with a thermometer for accurate results.
Fry to Golden Perfection
Carefully slide egg rolls seam side down into the hot oil. Fry 2 to 3 at a time for 2 minutes per side until deeply golden and crispy. Remove with tongs and rest on a paper towel lined plate to drain excess oil.
Dust and Serve
