Instructions
Make the Pudding Mixture
Whisk the instant chocolate pudding mix with cold milk in a large bowl for two minutes until the pudding begins to thicken. Fold in the whipped topping gently until fully combined and smooth.
Crush the Oreos
Place the Oreo cookies in a zip lock bag and crush them with a rolling pin until they resemble coarse dirt. Set aside about half the crumbs for the top layer.
Layer the Cups
Spoon a layer of crushed Oreos into the bottom of each plastic cup, then fill with chocolate pudding mixture leaving about one inch of space at the top. Add another generous layer of crushed Oreos over the pudding to cover it completely.
Decorate and Chill
Press two gummy worms into the top of each cup so they appear to be crawling out of the dirt. Refrigerate the cups for at least 30 minutes before serving to let the pudding set firmly.
