Instructions
Prepare the Dough
Mix flour yeast salt and warm water together then add olive oil and knead for 8 minutes until smooth and elastic then cover and let rise for 30 minutes in a warm place.
Cook the Filling
Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat for about 8 minutes seasoning with salt and pepper then remove from heat and mix in half the mozzarella cheese.
Shape and Fill
Divide dough into 4 portions and roll each into an oval shape then spoon the meat and cheese filling down the center and fold the edges up pinching the ends to form a boat shape.
Bake Until Golden
Brush edges with beaten egg and sprinkle remaining cheese on top then bake at 220C for 15 to 18 minutes until golden brown and bubbling.
