Instructions
Prep the Dough
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Unroll the crescent dough and separate it along the perforated lines then cut each triangle into 2 smaller triangles to create 16 pieces.
Wrap the Sausages
Place one cocktail sausage at the wide end of each dough triangle then roll it toward the pointed tip wrapping the dough snugly around the sausage as you roll.
Brush and Season
Place each wrapped sausage seam side down on a parchment lined baking sheet. Brush each one with beaten egg wash and sprinkle with sesame seeds if desired.
Bake Until Golden
Bake for 12 to 13 minutes until the crescent dough is puffed and deep golden brown then cool for 5 minutes before packing with a small container of mustard or ketchup for dipping.
