Instructions
Boil the Penne
Cook penne in a large pot of well-salted boiling water until al dente according to package directions. Reserve half a cup of pasta water before draining.
Build the Sauce
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and saute garlic for one minute. Add crushed tomatoes and cook for two minutes then pour in heavy cream and stir to combine into a beautiful pink sauce.
Combine and Simmer
Add drained penne to the pink sauce and toss well over low heat for one minute. Splash in pasta water if needed to loosen the sauce to your desired consistency.
Top and Serve
