Preheat and Prep
Preheat your oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit or set your oven broiler to high. Place pita rounds on a baking sheet lined with foil for easy cleanup.
Add Sauce and Cheese
Spread a generous layer of marinara sauce evenly over each pita bread leaving a small border. Distribute torn fresh mozzarella pieces evenly over the sauce on both pitas.
Bake Until Bubbly
Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake for 8 to 10 minutes until the cheese is fully melted and bubbling and the edges of the pita are golden and crispy.
Add Basil and Serve
