Instructions
Sear the Sausage
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat, add sliced sausage, and cook for 3 minutes until browned on both sides then set aside.
Cook the Peppers and Onion
In the same skillet add sliced peppers and onion, season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper, and cook for 4 to 5 minutes until softened and slightly caramelized.
Combine and Heat Through
Return sausage to the skillet with the peppers and onions, toss everything together, and cook for 1 to 2 more minutes until heated through.
Serve
Spoon the sausage pepper mixture into hoagie rolls or tortillas and serve hot with mustard or hot sauce on the side.
