Peel the Chickpeas
Rub drained chickpeas between paper towels to remove skins. This step makes the hummus extra smooth and creamy for kids.
Blend the Base
Add tahini and lemon juice to a food processor and blend for 1 minute until fluffy. This whips air into the tahini for a lighter texture.
Add Remaining Ingredients
Add chickpeas, garlic, and a pinch of salt. Blend for 2 minutes, drizzling in cold water and olive oil until super smooth.
