Drain and thoroughly pat dry chickpeas with paper towels. Toss with olive oil, smoked paprika, cumin, and cayenne until every chickpea is evenly coated.
Microwave First Round
Spread chickpeas in a single layer on a microwave-safe plate and microwave on high for 3 minutes, stopping halfway to shake the plate.
Crisp and Serve
Continue microwaving for another 2 minutes checking every 30 seconds. Chickpeas should feel slightly firm when done and will crisp further upon cooling.
