Instructions
Make the Spicy Honey Butter
Melt 4 tablespoons of butter and whisk together with honey and cayenne pepper in a small bowl. Set aside to use as a topping.
Mix the Cornbread Batter
In a large bowl whisk together cornmeal flour and baking powder. Add buttermilk eggs and melted butter and stir until just combined. Do not overmix or the waffles will be tough.
Preheat and Grease the Iron
Preheat your waffle iron to medium high and brush both plates with melted butter until well coated.
Cook the Waffles
