Instructions

1

Prep the sweet potatoes

Peel sweet potatoes and cut into finger sized sticks that are roughly the same thickness so they cook evenly. Pat dry with paper towel to help them crisp up.

2

Season and coat

Place fries in a large bowl and drizzle with olive oil. Sprinkle over mild paprika garlic powder and a small pinch of salt then toss to coat every piece evenly.

3

Bake until tender

Spread in a single layer on a lined baking tray making sure pieces do not overlap. Bake at 200C for 20 to 22 minutes flipping halfway through cooking.

4

Cool and serve

Allow to cool for 5 minutes so the fries are safe for toddler hands to pick up. Serve alongside a mild dipping sauce such as natural yogurt or mild tomato sauce.

Substitutions

Common mistakes
