Instructions
Lay Out the Turkey
Lay each turkey slice flat on a clean cutting board. Make sure the slices are fully open and not folded so they are easy to roll.
Add the Fillings
Spread a thin layer of yellow mustard on each turkey slice. Place a half slice of cheddar cheese and one butter lettuce leaf on the edge of each turkey slice closest to you. Sprinkle lightly with black pepper.
Roll Tightly
Starting from the end with the fillings roll each turkey slice tightly into a compact cylinder. Make sure the roll is firm so it does not unravel.
Secure and Serve
Insert a toothpick through the center of each roll up to hold it together. Arrange them on a plate and serve immediately or refrigerate for up to four hours.
