Vegan Banana Foster

Instructions
Make the Caramel Sauce
Melt vegan butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add brown sugar and cinnamon and stir constantly until the sugar dissolves and the mixture starts to bubble and turn golden.
Add the Bananas
Place the halved bananas cut side down into the caramel sauce and cook for about 2 minutes per side until they are golden and softened but not falling apart.
Flambé with Rum
Remove the pan from heat briefly and carefully pour in the dark rum. Return to low heat and allow the alcohol to cook off while stirring gently for about 2 minutes.
Serve Immediately
Scoop vegan vanilla ice cream into bowls and spoon the warm caramelized bananas and sauce generously over the top. Serve right away for best results.
