Instructions
Prep the Watermelon
Cut the watermelon into chunks and remove any seeds. Fresh watermelon works best in this recipe because it provides the natural juice base and cannot be easily replaced with frozen.
Add Everything to Blender
Place the watermelon, frozen strawberries, coconut water, yogurt, and lemon juice into the blender. Add the ice cubes on top.
Blend on High
Blend on high speed for 60 seconds until smooth. Watermelon blends very quickly so do not over-blend or the smoothie will become too foamy.
Serve Fresh
Pour immediately into glasses over a few extra ice cubes. This smoothie is best consumed right away as watermelon separates quickly when it sits.
